2007 Recap
Thank you to all who participated in the 4th annual Suntree Turkey Trot. The Suntree Turkeytrot continued to grow again this year with over 450 runners and walkers from ages 1 to 81 supporting this year's event. We hope everyone had a great time getting some exercise and helping raise money for the Brent R. Gooch Memorial Fund of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Because of your generous support of the 2007 Suntree Turkeytrot, we expect to contribute over $7000 to this very important cause. We hope everyone had fun and look forward to seeing everyone again in 2008.

The 2008 Suntree Turkeytrot is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, November 27th, 2008 at 8:30am starting at the Suntree Country Club in Melbourne. Please check this website for the most current information.
The Suntree Turkeytrot 5/10K Fun Run/Walk was created to honor the late Dr. Brent Gooch, a Suntree resident who spent his life treating and seeking a cure for diabetes. Although a diabetic from his youth, Brent's courage and caring were a daily inspiration to his family, friends and patients. This event commemorates his commitment to fitness and his zest for life & family.
